Recently concluded November 11, 2019 price for both Shopee and Lazada for the 1 year subscription was 693 (Lazada even had a voucher for 100 off so it came down to 593). The 6 month, 3 month, and 1 month subscriptions were also on sale at different times. It becomes even cheaper if you can use Shopee coins. There's still a December sale if you missed out on 11-11. For reference, 12 month subscription is 990, 6 months 520, 3 months 270, so if you find vouchers cheaper than those prices buy them because they sell out fast.

Mom's subscription (from the sale last year) was about to end last October 30 and I had to purchase a 3 month subscription at regular online price of 270 (because she says she can't do without Viu haha  :p ). Good thing I was able to snag the 12 month Viu voucher on sale for 593 at Lazada. Since you can't stack a 12 month subscription (max stackable is 12 months), Viu CS says to create a new account instead.

I didn't know they offered discounted 3, 6 and 12 month Viu Premium subscriptions via Shopee and Lazada, so since April 2018, I have been paying 129 pesos monthly (via the Google Play store) for my mom's Koreanovela addiction.  Haha  :D  Sorry to be living under a rock  :p

I canceled the recurring payment and decided to buy a 3 month subscription via Lazada last week (which should last til January 2019).

Last November 11 (Shopee's 1111 sale), they offered the 6 month subscription at a discounted price of 390 pesos (normally 520 pesos) during the final hour of the sale at 11pm.  Good thing I managed to buy one before it sold out since there was only a limited number available.  They sent the code within 24 hours of payment.

I'm not sure when they'll offer the discount again, but you can install the Shopee app or Lazada app and add your desired subscription to your shopping cart and check periodically for their sales.  It's more likely they'll offer it again this coming holiday shopping season (Thanksgiving, December 12, Christmas, etc.)

They offered the Viu 3-month subscription as a flash sale last December 12, 2018 below Php 135 (or was it 110?).  I was able to purchase a few more to extend her subscription which should tide her Koreanovela addiction til next year  :D

The 3 month subscription is now (December 23rd) on sale for Php 100. It's the cheapest I've seen it afaik.

Does it add or will it extend the current subscription if you purchase any 3, 6 or 12 month code for Viu Premium?

Yes, it extends your subscription (stackable). But take note that there's a maximum of 360 days for Premium subscription. In my case, I purchased a 3 month, 6 month, then another 3 month code to complete the 360 days for a total of Php 995 for 1 year. My actual cost was Php 961 because I was able to use some Shopee coins to bring down the price from 135 to 101 for the 3month code.

Take note also of the voucher validity/PIN validity when the deadline for redemption is. Their current codes from Shopee must be redeemed by December 31, 2018.
